HobbiesLanguage is my forté, as a result of my cosmopolitan background of living in UK, Singapore, Taiwan, California, Connecticut, etc. I spent my middle school year in San Jose, California playing basketball everyday for hours with my friends. In 9th grade, however, my family decided to go back to Taiwan, where high school freshmen typically study 10+ hours at school. After seeing and struggling with this change, I came up with learning strategies that help me learn efficiently without spending 10+ hrs (so I can still play basketball). During this time, I also wrote a dissertation comparing education system in the U.S. versus Taiwan, which enabled me to become one the the ten international Warwick Junior Commission Competition winners and to travel to UK and Singapore with sponsorship.
